Life
Retired and living in North Pole, Alaska. Got burnt out on the RV travel after 6years of retirement and went back to work for the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Visited my dad in Fort Bragg in February (2008) to celebrate his 80th birthday. I'm sure most of you remember him from Mendosa's. He hasn't changed much. Also just returned from a quick trip to Eugene OR to watch my son graduate with a doctorate in Biomechanics. Still not sure where he got those smarts as I just barely passed 9th grade science! s I'll head that way to visit soon. Anyone know a good place to get lobster cheap? The plan right now is to work till Nov 09 and then try retirement again. Sooner or later it will feel right! Just hope I remember the difference! Meanwhile, my SO and I spend alot of our free time either building or renovating properties for resale. Lots of work but lots of fun too. Just wish those roofs weren't so high. Would love to hear from anyone though as Sandra (Abernathy) Skillman can tell you I'm terrible at returning mail. Much better at email, although don't expect a quick reply!! :)
